- Richard undertakes general commercial litigation, with a particular focus on corporate insolvency and restructuring, company and shareholder disputes, and banking litigation. He has been involved in most of the high profile restructurings and UK based insolvencies which have occurred in recent years. Whilst frequently led in large and complex matters, Richard also regularly appears before tribunals as an advocate in his own right and has experience of most UK tribunals up to and including the Supreme Court. He also has experience of LCIA governed arbitrations. A significant part of Richard’s practice relates to off-shore work from Bermuda, the Cayman Islands or the British Virgin Islands.
