Michael Crystal’s areas of practice include Insolvency and Corporate Reconstruction, Commercial Litigation, Banking, Company Law, Financial Services, Professional Negligence, International Commercial Arbitration and Offshore Trust Litigation.
Consistently nominated as a leader in the fields of commercial litigation and in insolvency related work, Michael has acted in many high profile disputes and insolvencies, both in the UK and abroad, in recent years.
- Professional Career:
- Michael has been a member of numerous working parties, tribunals and societies relating to financial and commercial law both in the UK and abroad. He is also a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary College, University of London, an Hon. Fellow at the Society for Advanced Legal Studies, and a Visiting Professor, Department of Laws, University College London. He is a joint editor of the Butterworths Insolvency Law Handbook (10th ed. 2008).
